I'm leaving for college soon, which is scary enough on its own, but I have to leave behind some wonderful friends. I know you've had to do that before, so do you have any advice for me? How can I keep them close to my heart while I'm away?

Wow, college huh? Sounds pretty exciting!

Just thinking about my friends and our great times together makes me smile. Sometimes it makes me miss them more, but other times it makes me feel not so lonely without them. Remember, each day is another day closer to the time you’ll see them again. You’ll never lose your friends. No matter what happens. They’ll always be in your heart just like you’ll always be in mine.

Hello!

Being away from the people we care about is always hard. I guess that no matter where you go you’ll always think of them somehow. That can be kinda good and bad. You might feel lonely or heartbroken. But a heavy heart can always be lightened.

I’m sure you’ll find more friends to help you. Just like I do with every place I go. It doesn’t mean that they replace the friends you already have, there’s just more of them to have around. More memories and laughs to be shared. Who knows, you might even get to introduce some of your old friends with your new. Then they won’t be old or new at all! They’ll all just be your friend.

For starters, I’ll be your friend! It’s not that difficult as it seems. Just treat a person the way you would want to treat a friend. Be open to others and don’t forget you’ve got to
